Day 1: Training Cycle;
Facilitation Plans: Introduction to Outcomes; Introduction to NQF & NQF Objectives ; Identifying outcomes to be achieved
What we need to know about our learners: Adult Learning Theories; Accommodating Differences in learning styles ; Accommodating Barriers to learning
Facilitation Plans: Choosing suitable training methods & activities

Day 2: Facilitation Plans: Choosing training methods & activities; Presentation Skills; Questioning techniques; Group work/activities; Demonstration; Instructing; Coaching
Facilitation Plans: Developing lesson plans with focus on learner interaction; planning formative Assessment activities
Facilitation Plans: Selecting & Developing Training resources
Facilitation Plans: Evaluation Techniques

Day 3: Selecting & Developing Training resources: Venue arrangements
Importance of Communication
Role Play of Facilitation of a group of learners with a video including presentations & group work.
Report Writing: Reporting on training
Evaluation Techniques: Facilitation Skills-evaluated

Day 4: Managing group learning; Group dynamics; Dealing with individuals within the group; Maintaining order
Evaluation Techniques: Review planning & preparation
Reviewing approach to training.
Complete class tasks and submit POE.
